Houseplant Care

There is nothing quite like vibrant growing plants to breathe life into a home and make it feel more inviting. It’s a satisfying feeling to tend a houseplant and be rewarded with gorgeous flowers and foliage. Some of our clients have a special relationship with their houseplants and sometimes caring for a house full of plants can transition from beloved hobby to tiring chore.

Presidio Home Care understands that maintaining these seemingly small aspects of one’s life can have a huge impact. That’s why we train our caregivers to be aware of our clients’ needs and wants. If our clients have a house full of plants that require special care, we will sit with our client and take notes on the care required for each plant. We then encourage our caregivers to involve the client as much as they are willing (and able) in the maintenance of their plants. This allows the client to enjoy their plants without all the hassle. It also creates a wonderful opportunity for our caregivers to bond with their client over something soothing and enjoyable.

Taking care of basic needs is the just the foundation of caregiving.
